Jesper felt depressed. He had never been this rude to a female before,
except to his own mother when he was a teenager and she always deserved
it. And now the insulted female seemed to be dying, and he could do
nothing about it. He couldn't even apologize to her. During short
moments when Olivia regained consciousness
Jesper had managed to get her
to drink some water, but she was still very hot and dried out.
The weather didn't exactly help the cooling eather since it was a very
hot and sunny spring day. Just when everything seemed hopeless, Jesper heard the
unmistakable sound of a familiar wing-beat.
Darren landed, as ungracefully as ever, in front of our two heros.
He started to talk eagerly at the same moment as he reached the
ground:
"Man you were hard to find! The balloon sure has move a long distance
during a sort time. But never mind that. I need Olivia to hypnotise me
out of my phobia. I'm alone with the most beautiful female creature in
universe on a paradise island, and I do not dare to cuddle with
her. It is driving me crazy."
"Olivia can't do that I'm afraid.
She has a very high fever, and can't do
anything if she isn't properly cooled down first.", Jesper
explained.
"Then we must cool her down. We must do that, else I can't hug Denise.
Jump up on my back, and take Olivia with you."
Jesper climbed out of the basket. He could do that since the balloon
now stood on the ground.
The reason why the balloon was on the ground was that the heater that
had been on maximum
during the whole train trip now was off since all the fuel was
consumed. He then carried the skinny witch up on Darren's back, and
signaled for a take off. With a very high speed Darren flew towards
the coast and out over the ocean. He then landed on a sandy beach on
the edge of a lovely island.
As soon as they had landed, Jesper ran down from Darren and down into
the ocean with Olivia in his arms. As he slowly begun the cooling of a
hot witch, a man with dirty clothes and a face that hadn't been shaved
for ages, stumbled out between two bushes. When he noticed Jesper and
Olivia he stopped, hide behind a rock, and whispered:
"Oh, my God! I had forgotten how beautiful a woman could be."
As he watched the enticingly dressed woman, he could see that she
started to move her limbs as she gradually looked
more and more alive. When Jesper assumed that she was cool enough he
begun to carry Olivia back to land. However, just before he reached
land the dirty dressed unshaved man rushed forward and grabbed Olivia
from Jesper's hands as he yelled:
"I'll take her"
A few seconds later Olivia was again ripped away from a mans arms to
the words:
"No, I'll take her" as Darren grabbed Olivia.
When Darren ran away with Olivia the unshaved man started to
complain to Jesper:
"Oh, no. The first woman I've seen since I got stranded on this desert
island was taken by a dragon. It feels like I'm in a fairy tail, the
dragon kidnap the beautiful princess."
Jesper looked suspiciously at the man and asked:
"Don't I know you from somewhere?"
"Perhaps, perhaps not.", the man said and started to cover his face
with his left hand.
"Now I know! You are the pilot that was suppose to fly me to Wagga
Wagga! The last I remember from you is that you said that we were
going to die."
"That's right Mr Baldman. A tornado brought me here. I have been
stranded here ever since. It must be about five hours ago now.
After Darren had run away approximately 100 meters with Olivia, he
gently placed her on a large rock. He talked to her with his smoothest
voice:
"Olivia, my dearest friend. I have a small problem that I'm sure that
you can solve for me. Can you please hypnotise me out of my stupid
hug-phobia. I'll be grateful to you for the rest of my life."
"Sorry, Darren I can't. My head aches so much that I don't think I can
concentrate enough to hypnotise. By the way, where are we, and what
happened to the balloon?"
"Don't mind your pretty little mind with that. Is there something that
will remove your headache?"
"Well, an aspirin is never wrong."
"Then I'll get you ten boxes of aspirin", Darren said and ran back to
Denise and the others. When he approached them he said to Denise:
"Wait for just a short time longer my love, I'll just have to fly away
to get some aspirin for Olivia."
"Excuse me Darren, but did you say that you were going to get some
aspirin? Where are you going to get that?", Jesper interposed.
"From a pharmacy, stupid!"
"Have you considered two potential problems:
