Emergent hierarchical structures in multiadaptive games

This applet visualizes coevolution of cooperative behavior by feedback between dynamic payoff matrix and dynamic network.
In order to run the applet you need Java Runtime Environment installed.

where ρ(t) is the density of cooperator at time t, ρ* = 0.5, and α is feedback strength.
b0 is initial temptation value; b0 = b(t=0).
β value is inversed temperature.
Cooperator(yellow) and Defector(black).
Green circle indicates agents having degree k larger than cutk.
If the check box "Link" is on, the non-local links are drawn.
In the drop-down menu, "multiadaptive" shows the model corresponding to PRL paper. "no wiring"("2-dimension") shows adaptive model with(without) non-adjustable non-local links.
